Labcorp is seeking an Intern - Medical Technologist (Genomics) to join our team in Singapore.
Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite); Dates of Internship: Jan - Jun 2027; Compensation: Paid internship; Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.
You will learn about the various assays and their applications essential for clinical and commercial applications which have facilitated discovery of new diagnostics and treatments to manage a wide array of diseases. Gain clinical experience working in the laboratory of a drug development company. Observe analytical testing of specimens, interpret and document test results. Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Upkeep of lab equipment, maintain laboratory supplies and good housekeeping. Rotate through other departments of the laboratory. Perform routine clerical duties as required. Instruction and mentorship will be provided. At the end of training, the student will do presentation to fulfill his/her understanding in the training program across the various departments.
