Job summary

Labcorp in Singapore is offering an Intern – Scientist (BioAnalytical – LC/MS) role for a 20+ week, full-time onsite internship. You will train in GLP and GCP, extract analytes from complex matrices, operate LC-MS/MS, and support method development and validation under supervision.

Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences is required. Basic lab skills and pipetting experience are preferred.

Internship Details:

Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite) Dates of Internship: Jan – Jun 2027 Compensation: Paid internship Eligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.

About Team:

Internship Assignment Summary:

GLP (good laboratory practice) and GCP (good clinical practice) training. Extract analytes from complicated matrix using various techniques, e.g., PPT, LLE, SLE, SPE. Operation of Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Sets up, operates and performs routine and non‑routine maintenance on general equipment. Performs a full method validation. Evaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed. Performs sample analysis for samples from clinical trial. Assists in setting up method development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current enrollment in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor's degree program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic lab skills e.g. pipetting 3 months or more relevant experience with hands‑on wet chemistry experiment.

Additional Job Standards:

Familiarity with analytical chemistry. Good organization and multitasking ability. Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills. Adaptive to highly regulated routine laboratory work.
