Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is offering a hands-on internship in our Food & Beverage service team in Singapore. You will assist in mise-en-place, guest interactions, stock checks and daily service operations while learning from seasoned professionals.

Ideal candidates are full-time matriculated students with strong English, good customer service, and a professional, team-oriented mindset. Training is provided, with opportunities to deploy across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student.
• Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent grooming and professional disposition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all F&B mise-en-place duties to service
• Perform F&B service operations in accordance to the service standards
• Observe all hygiene standards during operations
• Attend to Guests' needs by interacting with guests and responding appropriately
• Liaise with various departments to meet business needs
• Generate bill using the Point-Of-Sale system
• Perform F&B stock-taking process
• Understand various F&B roles such as bartender, stewarding, hostess, service attendant, runner, bar-back
• Assist the Manager in the overall operations of the restaurant
• Know the importance of Responsible Alcohol Service and Responsible Gambling
• Assist on ad-hoc tasks/projects as required
