Job summary

Grab is seeking a Business Analyst Intern for an onsite internship at Grab One North in Singapore from January to May/June 2027. You will work with business teams and senior analysts to define requirements, support prioritisation, delivery, and testing, gaining hands-on experience in backlog management and user acceptance testing.

• You have a practical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), gained through study, projects, or work experience.
• You can clarify business needs by asking focused questions and documenting requirements in user stories or acceptance criteria.
• You can represent business processes using clear process flows or other structured documentation.
• You have used Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to maintain requirements, track issues, or organise a backlog.
• You can validate features against requirements, record test results, and track issues through follow-up.
• You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requirements sessions with business teams to clarify project goals, user needs, and workflows.
• Translate findings into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Work with senior Business Analysts to assess incoming requests, identify dependencies and priorities, and refine the product backlog into clear tasks for engineering teams.
• Maintain requirements and process documentation, updating it as decisions or project needs change.
• Support user acceptance testing by checking delivered features against agreed requirements, recording issues, and tracking follow-up.
• Use approved GenAI tools to support research, meeting summaries, requirements documentation, or test-scenario drafting, and verify outputs before use.

The Commercial Systems team develops and maintains technology that supports Grab's commercial teams. Team members work with business stakeholders and engineers to clarify needs, document requirements, and deliver system improvements that support business processes.

Get to Know the Role

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work with business teams and senior Business Analysts to define requirements and support prioritisation, delivery, and testing.

This full-time, onsite internship at Grab One North runs from January to May/June 2027.

You will gain practical experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and user acceptance testing while working with business and engineering teams.

You will report to Lead Business Analyst, Salesforce Delivery.
