Job summary

Phillip Capital Inc. is seeking an Intern in Managed Accounts to support automation and continuous improvement of portfolio construction and monitoring processes, working with the Co-CIO and team on tools for multi-mandate portfolios.

You'll gain exposure to live model portfolios, data pipelines, rebalancing checks, performance attribution and client reporting while documenting workflows and contributing to knowledge resources.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or penultimate/final-year student in Finance, CS, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas/numpy) and/or strong Excel skills; exposure to optimisation or financial modelling is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently on defined tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support automation of portfolio construction and mean-variance optimisation tools.
• Automate recurring manual processes across construction, rebalancing checks, and reporting.
• Assist quantitative screening and scoring workflows used in equity mandate construction.
• Build Excel/Python-based reporting outputs including allocations and rationale summaries.
• Prepare data for internal investment committee reviews and portfolio deep-dives.
• Document workflows and contribute to internal knowledge resources.
