About the role

Explore Living Creative Pte. Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Interior Sales Consultant to join our team in the Eunos Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our business, serving as the bridge between our clients and our exceptional interior design services. As an Interior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting design solutions, and closing sales whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Your strategic importance lies in driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships that reflect our commitment to excellence in interior design.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their interior design requirements, preferences, and budgets

• Present tailored interior design solutions and product offerings that align with client needs and expectations

• Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about design options, materials, and finishes

• Prepare quotations and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness

• Negotiate contract terms and close sales transactions to achieve sales targets

• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, preferences, and sales activities in the customer relationship management system

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and understood

• Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads

• Stay updated on current design trends, product offerings, and competitor activities within the interior design market

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the interior design, home furnishings, or related creative industries

• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, colour theory, and current design trends

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs and preferences

• Sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively

• A keen eye for aesthetics and spatial design with an ability to visualise and communicate design solutions

• Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
