Job summary

Systmz Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a cost-focused professional to prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects. You will evaluate tender proposals, conduct feasibility studies, and manage cost information through the project lifecycle.

You will handle contractual matters with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants while overseeing budget setting, cost planning, and monitoring across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying is required.
• 2-5 years' relevant experience with contractor.
• Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and good team player.
• Good at time management.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tender documents and quantities.
• Provision of cost estimates.
• Evaluation of tender proposals.
• Conduct project feasibility studies and manage cost information for all projects.
• Assist on contractual issues with client, subcontractor and consultants.
• Overall project budget setting and monitoring.
• Comparison and review of award of contracts and rates.
• Monitoring of project expenditure and preparation of cashflow projections and updates for budget control.
• Advise on possible cost over-runs and alternative solutions.
• Expand the pool of sub-contractor and supplier contacts and sourcing.
