Job summary

Oneness M&C Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing from quotation to completion. You will review drawings and project requirements to determine quantities, materials and overall cost, and prepare quotations for carpentry and interior fit-out works.

You will obtain supplier quotes, work with project and site teams, track expenditure, assess variations, and prepare progress claims with supporting documents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Previous working experience as a Quantity Surveyor is required.
• Able to interpret construction or technical drawings.
• Comfortable working with quantities, measurements and project costing.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to manage several ongoing projects and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in carpentry, interior fit-out or renovation projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costing from initial quotation through to project completion.
• Review drawings and project requirements to determine quantities, materials and overall cost.
• Prepare quotations and pricing for carpentry and interior fit-out works.
• Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Work closely with the project and site teams on cost-related matters throughout the project.
• Track project expenditure and highlight potential cost overruns.
• Assess variations and prepare the necessary cost breakdowns and supporting documents.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, and follow up on payment matters where required.
• Verify supplier and subcontractor claims against completed works and agreed pricing.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, claims, variations and other commercial documents.
