Job summary

The Interior Lab (TIL) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking aspiring interior designers to gain real project ownership from concept to completion.

You will work directly with clients, develop creative design solutions, and build industry experience while growing your income through project success. You'll create space plans, mood boards, and 2D/3D visualisations, while coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to create and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with clients.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Create functional and aesthetically pleasing space plans, mood boards, and design concepts
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D visualisations to bring design ideas to life
• Recommend materials, finishes, furnishings, and design solutions based on clients' needs and budgets
• Present design concepts confidently and professionally to clients
• Build strong relationships with clients and understand their lifestyle, preferences, and project goals
• Guide clients through the design journey from consultation to project completion
• Prepare design proposals and quotations
• Convert design enquiries into successful projects through consultation and relationship building
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, and completion timelines
• Resolve challenges proactively and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience using V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or similar visualisation tools
• Knowledge of residential renovation projects (HDB, condominium, landed properties)
• Background in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other client-facing roles
