Job summary

Redwood Interior Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead the development of design concepts, space planning, and showrooms and corporate office solutions.

You will take ownership from concept to detailed design, specify materials, collaborate with suppliers, and mentor junior designers while upholding quality and buildability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate office, workplace, commercial or interior fit-out design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, space planning, material selection and technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, furniture systems and buildability.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant 3D visualisation/rendering software; Revit would be an advantage.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple design priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design concepts, space planning and design proposals for showroom, material displays and corporate office solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept development through detailed design, material selection and implementation.
• Develop and customise corporate office products and solutions, including partitions, acoustic solutions, workstations, meeting spaces, cabinetry and office furniture.
• Prepare and review mood boards, material palettes, 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, renderings and technical drawings.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture and workplace solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality and buildability.
• Research and introduce new materials, products and design solutions to strengthen the company's design offering.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to develop solutions and resolve design and technical matters.
• Review design deliverables and provide guidance to junior designers to maintain design quality and consistency.
