Job summary

LE-RENZO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a junior interior designer to assist senior designers in developing concepts, layouts, and proposals. You will help prepare 2D drawings, prepare 3D models, renderings, mood boards, and presentations.

The role involves space planning, selecting materials, coordinating with project teams, and supporting project documentation to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
• Proficient in interior design principles, space planning, materials, and detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; SketchUp and other 3D tools preferred.

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and design proposals.
• Assist in preparing detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
• Prepare 3D models, renderings, mood boards, presentations, and design visuals.
• Assist with space planning, furniture layouts, colour schemes, materials, finishes, and styling.
• Assist in selecting and sourcing materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
• Prepare material boards, sample boards, presentations, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing design specifications, material schedules, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project parties under the guidance of senior designers.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material samples, finishes, and product specifications.
• Attend site visits and assist with site inspections to ensure the design is properly implemented.
• Assist in resolving design, technical, and site-related issues during project execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth project progress.
• Conduct research on new materials, finishes, furniture, design trends, and innovative design solutions.
• Ensure all drawings, documents, and design presentations are accurate, updated, and properly organised.
• Assist the team in meeting project deadlines, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Take direction from senior designers and actively contribute ideas during the design development process.
• Support the design team in day-to-day project coordination and other tasks when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture , or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, and construction detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp , and preferably other 3D rendering or design software.
• Knowledge of Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, or Illustrator will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of design drawings and basic construction details.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to attend site visits and work closely with contractors and suppliers.
• Possess a positive attitude and strong interest in developing a career in interior design.
