Job summary

RE-SEARCH RECRUITMENT seeks a Senior Workplace (Office) Interior Designer to lead corporate office interior design projects in Singapore. You will develop innovative design concepts, coordinate with teams, and mentor junior designers to deliver high-quality spaces that reflect client objectives.

The role requires strong presentation and communication skills, plus expertise in SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of corporate office interior design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of design detailing and construction methods.
• Strong conceptual design and space planning skills.
• Ability to work in a team under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Job description

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Workplace (Office) Interior Designer. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong eye for workplace design, a flair for spatial storytelling, and a passion for interior environments who is eager to bring impactful concepts to life across diverse spaces.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop innovative and well-considered design solutions that meet project objectives and client requirements.
• Provide conceptual thinking, research, and analysis for proposed projects.
• Prepare high-quality presentation materials, including PowerPoint slides and presentation packages, to effectively communicate and secure client approval for design solutions.
• Ensure all design changes and solutions are accurately coordinated and integrated into project design documentation.
• Monitor and uphold design intent throughout site implementation and project execution.
• Lead, guide, and mentor junior designers to support their professional development and design output.
• Assist the Associate/ Lead Designer or Design Director in managing project schedules and deliverables for the interior design team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management team or immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years experience in corporate office interior design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or its equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology.
• Strong in conceptual design and space planning skills.
• Able to work as part of a team independently; work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
• Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiencies in SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCAD and MS Office are must haves.
