Maersk in Singapore is seeking a senior business development professional to lead and grow the company’s vertical footprint in Retail and Lifestyle sectors. Reporting to the Retail & Lifestyle Vertical Lead, the role is expected to execute country’s industry vertical strategy, develop and grow the company’s vertical footprint, and lead & support global/regional/local Key Accounts, and deliver financial results in-line with agreed budgets and targets.
Take lead on driving end-to-end and value added solutions, and development on target accounts with sizeable potential.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Business Development and Key Account Development, preferably with a strong background across multiple end-to-end logistics products; Contract Logistics experience would be an advantage.
Strong exposure and expertise in the Retail and/or Lifestyle vertical in Singapore is preferred.
Broad multimodal and end-to-end logistics knowledge, with the ability to sell and position solutions across the supply chain.
Strong consultative selling capability and agility in navigating complex sales cycles, understanding customer needs and developing tailored, value-adding solutions.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex matrix organisations.
Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and a value-creation mindset.
Financially savvy and strategic in approach, with the ability to identify opportunities that drive sustainable customer and business growth.
Self-driven and able to operate independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively engage and manage clients.
