Job summary

TOKIO MARINE INSURANCE SINGAPORE LTD. is seeking a claims assistant to liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors and lawyers, while supporting the Claims Executive to manage and process claims expeditiously and professionally within service benchmarks.

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in insurance claims are encouraged to apply. A Diploma or CGI/equivalent insurance certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or CGI/equivalent insurance certification.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in insurance claims are encouraged to apply.
• Possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Able to multi-task, is a team player and willing to learn new skills.
• Conscientious, tactful and customer-focused.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, investigators, lawyers, 3rd party claimants, sister companies etc.
• Assist Claims Executive to manage and process claims expeditiously, professionally and equitably within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.
• Periodic review of files, as and when required.
• Ensure recovery claims are pursued and followed up periodically.
• Compile monthly/quarterly statistics and any other statistical data when required.
• Any other duty or assignment as and when instructed by the superior.
