Job summary

Howden is seeking an Administration Assistant to Brokers in Singapore to provide day-to-day support, ensure accurate documentation, and act as the interface between Broking and Claims/Finance teams.

You will interact with clients and underwriters, help identify new business opportunities, and assist with broking presentations, compliance, and process improvements within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the insurance-related industry.
• Understanding of insurance market processes and procedures.
• Basic technical knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements applicable to insurance intermediaries.
• Ability to conduct market, industry, and client research to identify business opportunities and support client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration support to Brokers in Singapore as required.
• Ensure that all relevant files & documentation are submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Ensure full and accurate completion of all soft copy files, and completion of all “Global” system entries and records.
• Act as primary interface between Broking and other departments, primarily Claims and Finance.
• Interact directly with Clients & Underwriters of the Company as required.
• Provide all assistance necessary in the identification and development of new business opportunities.
• Support broking colleagues with information gathering and the preparation of broking presentations.
• Assist in the ongoing monitoring of compliance with agreed Company procedures in the Broking Department.
• Assist in the continual improvement and maintenance of service standards, defined in terms of both substance and speed.
• Ongoing assistance in the development of new or existing protocols and procedures.
• Assist in the continual development and improvement of all documentation and communication media.
• Ongoing review, development and improvement of all the above.
• Any other duties assigned by the Company.
