Job summary

TUV SUD PSB Singapore is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to perform inspections ensuring acceptance criteria of global codes and industry standards. The role requires strong interpretation of regulations, conducting NDT, reporting findings, and maintaining equipment.

You will lead QA of piping/equipment repairs, liaise with contractors, and train junior inspectors while enforcing safety policies and documentation standards in a busy petrochemical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries.
• Ability to review ITP and working procedures.
• Proficient in QA of piping/equipment repairs and liaison with contractors.

Key Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma holder with at least 4 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries and relevant API certificates
• Able to perform QA of all piping/equipment repair work and liaise with contractor, maintenance & operation personnel
• Well versed with all the techniques involving NDT methods (radiography, UT, PT, MPI)
• Ability to review the working procedures and ITP
• Good knowledge of pressure equipment and piping manufacturing Code, like ASME, API as well as welding processes
• Good knowledge of materials and pipes/equipment used in the refinery and their damage mechanism
