Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Inspector/Engineer to verify product/material compliance with EPC, client, or industry specs and PO requirements across sites, fabrication yards, EPC and client worksites, and warehouses.

You will validate inspection requirements, inspect materials and certifications, witness tests, review quality records, attend factory acceptance tests, and generate inspection release notes to support project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant QA/QC experience in petrochemical plant projects and turnarounds.
• Valid API 510 and API 653 certifications and ASNT Level II certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with proven inspection planning.
• Experience working at supplier, fabricator and client sites is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate inspection requirements and perform inspections at worksites, suppliers, and warehouses.
• Inspect materials and review certifications prior to delivery to fabricators.
• Witness and review testing activities per inspection and test plans.
• Review quality records and generate inspection progress reports.
• Attend factory acceptance tests and release inspection notes.
• Support as‑building processes and handover for completions.
• Audit material vendors, fabricators, NDT providers, and manufacturers.

Your role

Our Client is looking for Quality Inspector/Engineer who will be responsible for inspect product/material and associated documentation to confirm compliance to the EPC, Client or industry specifications/codes and relevant purchase order requirements. This includes at supplies sites, fabrication yards, EPC and client worksites and/or receipt at warehouse locations.

• Validate inspection requirements and carry out inspection activities at worksites, suppliers, fabricators, and/or on receipt at warehouse as instructed by the project Quality team
• Inspection of materials and review of material certification prior to delivery to fabricators/manufacturers where required.
• Witness / review of testing activities in compliance with Inspection and test plan requirements
• Inspection of temporary equipment (wellhead rentals, portable equipment) prior to release
• Verification that appropriate approvals are in place prior to commencement of specific works (e.g. weld procedures are approved, welder certification, etc.)
• Review and endorsement of quality records raised as an output from fabrication/manufacturing and installation processes
• Generation of inspection and progress reports as required
• Attend factory acceptance tests
• Final inspection release and issue of inspection release notes
• Report any inspection deficiencies and queries to project quality team
• Provide support to as-building processes and handover for completions
• Assist in auditing of material vendors, fabricators, NDT providers, and manufacturers
• Manage the project System Completion Turnover process

You are what we are looking for if you:

• Have minimum 15 years of relevant QA/QC experience in petrochemical plant projects and in-service Inspection planning
• Have valid API 510 Certification
• Have valid API 653 Certification
• Have valid N.D.T ASNT Level II Certification
• Have minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Have experience working on projects and turnaround for Oil & Gas Operator company
• Have experience in RBI, material selection, and fixed equipment inspection
• Are proficient in SAP and MS Office
