Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support customers by identifying needs and offering standard and tailored solutions and services. You will collaborate with the sales, customer service, product management and technical teams to ensure proposals meet product standards and specifications.

This role is on-site and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration. Ideally you hold a Diploma in Mechanical or relevant engineering studies, with project management and team leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or relevant engineering studies.
• Project management skills.
• Team leadership and facilitation.
• Ability to work independently and possess strong “Can Do attitude”.
• Knowledge of import/export regulation, SAP system, Salesforce, MS Office

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for clients, answering queries and providing basic technical information.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction and retention.
• Extensive interaction with customers, partners and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
• Prepare, send and follow up on quotations.
• Address clients’ concerns around technical capabilities and commercial viability.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce opportunities and ensure up-to-date pipelines.
