Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Singapore to support customers by identifying their needs and offering standard and specific solutions. You will collaborate with sales, customer service, product management and technical teams to ensure technically accurate proposals and adherence to product standards.

You will act as the key contact for clients, handle quotations, and coordinate with internal teams to maximize retention and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or relevant engineering studies.
• Experience in project management and leading teams.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for clients, answers queries, provides basic technical guidance.
• Coordinate with sales, service, product and technical teams to align proposals.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers; ensure accuracy in Salesforce.
• Maintain strong customer relationships across all levels; drive retention.
• Monitor sales opportunities in Salesforce; push for timely updates.
• Support regional sales colleagues with market insights and competitive intelligence.
• Participate in cross-functional knowledge sharing and training.
• Assist with orders and price discussions; coordinate with demand planning.
