Job summary

IDAS SERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to present our products, assess customer equipment needs, and collaborate with the sales and service teams. You will generate high-quality leads, prepare quotations, and support customers on-site or remotely to tailor solutions and meet sales goals.

The role requires strong communication, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable specifications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
• Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
• Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
• Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgrading of system.
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
• Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
• Training of products and services when necessary for new projects
• Preparation of quotation
• Preparation of weekly and monthly Sales report.
• Work closely with service engineers, Technicians, sales engineer and service coordinator on day-to-day schedule
• Excellence communication skills with customer via tele and/or on site to solve any technical related issues
