Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Injection Mold Design Engineer to design plastic injection molds that meet customer requirements and to prepare manufacturability documentation.

The role involves close collaboration with CAM and manufacturing teams to deliver engineered plastic parts and assemblies. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, strong CAD skills, and hands-on experience with Mold Design and Moldflow MPI / Moldex 3D, with a proactive, analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong CAD skills with NX12 and Mold design experience.
• Familiarity with Moldflow MPI / Moldex 3D for simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design plastic injection molds to meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Prepare DFM documentation according to customer specs.
• Develop 3D and 2D solid mold designs using UG NX12 software (or higher).
• Design engineered plastic parts, insert-molded parts, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with CAM and Manufacturing to ensure requirements are met.

Job description

Our client is seeking an Injection Mold Design Engineer to join their team. This role centers on designing plastic injection molds to meet customer requirements, preparing manufacturability documentation, and working closely with CAM and manufacturing teams to deliver engineered plastic parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design plastic injection molds in line with customer requirements and specifications
• Prepare DFM (Design for Manufacturability)documentation according to customer specifications
• Develop 3D and 2D solid mold designs using UG NX12software (or higher)
• Design engineered plastic parts, insert-molded parts, and assemblies
• Collaborate closely with the CAM and Manufacturing(MFG) departments to ensure customer requirements are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Strong knowledge of CAD and Unigraphics NX12
• Hands‑on experience with Mold Design and Moldflow MPI /Moldex 3D
• Proactive with strong innovative and analytical thinking
