Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Mold Design Engineer to create plastic injection molds and develop 3D/2D mold designs using NX12. The role involves DFM preparation and close collaboration with CAM and manufacturing teams to meet customer specifications.

You will apply Moldflow MPI or Moldex 3D to optimize parts and assemblies, with strong emphasis on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong CAD skills with Unigraphics NX12 and mold design knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Moldflow MPI or Moldex 3D is encouraged.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design plastic injection molds per customer requirements and specifications.
• Prepare DFM according to customer specs.
• Develop 3D and 2D mold designs using NX12 and above.
• Design engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with CAM and MFG to meet customer needs.
