Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on systems infrastructure experience, with 3+ years leading a team of at least 3 engineers.
• Strong administration of Windows Server 2019+, Windows 11, Active Directory, and SQL Server 2019+.
• Hands-on VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, virtualization, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Experience in Windows patch management (WSUS), certificates, antivirus solutions (Symantec SEP/SEPM, Trellix ePO), and backup/recovery.
• Good networking (Layer 2/3, routing, VPN), security concepts (PAM, EDR, RSA), and centralized logging (Splunk).
• Experience in managing enterprise infrastructure projects, change management, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of system engineers with technical guidance.
• Ensure system availability, preventive maintenance, and monthly operational reporting.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades across servers, OS, VMware, networks and COTS platforms.
• Review changes with impact analysis, testing, rollback planning.

The role is responsible for managing a team of system engineers, ensuring high system availability, overseeing infrastructure upgrades, driving operational excellence, and providing technical leadership across Windows, VMware, networking, and security environments.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field;
• Has 6+ years of hands-on systems infrastructure experience with 3+ years leading a team of at least 3 system engineers;
• Strong administration of Windows Server 2019+, Windows 11, Active Directory (GPO, OU, and user administration), and Microsoft SQL Server 2019+;
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, virtualization, and infrastructure upgrades;
• Experience in Windows patch management (WSUS), Windows CA/SSL Certificates, antivirus solutions (Symantec SEP/SEPM, Trellix ePO), and backup & recovery;
• Good understanding of networking (Layer 2/3, routing, IPSec VPN), security concepts (PAM, EDR, RSA), and centralized logging tools (Splunk, Syslog);
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and change management;
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineers.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
