Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security hardening across Windows, Linux, Unix, and AD. The role focuses on automated compliance, drift monitoring, and remediation across a regulated banking environment.

You will collaborate with Infra, App, IAM, and Governance teams to strengthen privileged and non-human identities, and define robust security controls throughout the tech lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in administration, configuration, and security of Windows, Linux, Unix, and Active Directory environments.
• Experience implementing security hardening controls and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security hardening standards for Windows, Linux, Unix, AD, and related open-system technologies.
• Develop automated compliance profiles and monitor systems for configuration drift and deviations from baselines.
• Analyze findings, recommend corrective actions, and drive remediation with platform and application teams.
• Strengthen Active Directory security including privileged access, GPOs, authentication, delegation, and directory configurations.
• Define security requirements for privileged and non-human identities, including lifecycle management.
• Identify and remediate unmanaged, orphaned, or excessively privileged accounts.
• Provide security engineering support for new tech, upgrades, vulnerabilities, incidents, risk assessments, and audits.
• Develop reusable security configurations, automation, and engineering patterns for consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Infra, App, IAM, Security Architecture, Cyber Defense, Risk and Governance teams.
