Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build and support a highly available, secure IT platform spanning Windows, Linux, virtualization, and cloud components. You will install hardware, configure servers, and ensure compliance with bank standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining backups, performing DR exercises, and collaborating with architects, service build, and security teams to deploy reliable infrastructure across on-prem and cloud

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in server and system administration.
• Experience with on-prem, private and public cloud infra.
• Proficient with Terraform, Chef and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and maintain a highly available IT infrastructure.
• Install hardware and software and perform upgrades.
• Implement and review server hardening to standards.
• Maintain file systems, backups, and DR readiness.
• Support audits and liaise with vendors.
