Job summary

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is seeking a Portfolio Associate to join the Project and Asset Management team in Singapore. The role supports PMOs in monitoring loan, guarantee, and equity projects, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and sector strategies.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, updating models for scenario analysis, tracking covenants, and drafting memos for approvals.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience monitoring project implementation for infrastructure investment operations.
Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, international relations, social sciences, or similar fields relevant to AIIB's operations.
Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and financial analysis of investment projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English with ability to synthesize complex issues.

Responsibilities

Assist senior PMOs in monitoring tasks at project/asset and portfolio levels.
Analyze loan assets by spreading and analyzing financial statements and adapting financial models.
Prepare and update project implementation monitoring reports and assess compliance with loan docs and Bank policies.
Track compliance with covenants in loan agreements and report deviations to supervisors.
Monitor ESG and other reporting requirements and follow up on deliverables and issues.
Draft memos for processing consents, waivers, amendments, and other events.
Participate in quarterly/annual portfolio reviews and provide notes/minutes for meetings.
