Job summary

Mediterranean Shipping Co. (Switzerland) Asia Regional Office PTE Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT operations professional to support BAU operations and drive project implementations.

You will handle incident response, documentation, and ensure smooth IT services across regional systems. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, knowledge-base upkeep, and collaboration with the Information Systems Director and Deputy General Manager, with standby on emergencies and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computing, IT or equivalent qualifications.
• Certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA) are an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in relevant field is preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills, and be bilingual.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• A collaborative team player with drive, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills.
• An enthusiasm for learning about current and new technologies.
• Proven ability to resolve a high number of incidents and work well under pressure.
• Willing to be on standby for emergency response and to support after-hours maintenance work when required.

• Documentation and Knowledge-Base recording
• Troubleshooting and providing solutions; seeking appropriate resource and assistance where required
