Job summary

NCS is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems in Singapore to design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will manage virtualization platforms, implement IaC with Terraform & Ansible, and develop CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in infra roles, strong Linux/Windows admin skills, and hands-on cloud, container, and monitoring experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Infrastructure Engineer, Systems to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure systems that support our organization's operations. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security while demonstrating a systematic and organized approach to infrastructure management.

What will you do?

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure systems across on‑premises and cloud environments
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, ensuring efficient resource allocation and system performance
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment processes
• Monitor system performance and health using monitoring and logging tools; analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues systematically and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
