Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Support professional to assist in design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. You will write scripts, document configurations, monitor performance, and provide end-user support. Linux exposure and security practices are preferred.

Candidates with 1–2 years of IT experience or equivalent are welcome, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and a team mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Equivalents with work experience or IT certifications acceptable.
• 1–2 years of relevant IT experience, open to fresh graduates.
• Exposure to Linux environment will be an advantage.

Job Description

Assist in System Design and Implementation:

• Assist in Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Able to write script for the operation usage.
• Develop and implement system configurations, procedures, and documentation.

System Maintenance and Support:

• Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups.

Security Management:

• Implement and manage security measures to protect systems, data, and networks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.
• Customer Support:
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly

Qualifications

• Degree holder Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Acceptable alternatives (e.g., equivalent work experience, certifications in IT domain).
• Relevant experience for 1 or 2 years. Also open to candidates without prior working experience.
• Experience in IT.
• Exposure to Linux Environment will be advantage.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
