Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an Infra Engineer to install, configure, and operate Linux and Windows OS along with middleware. You will administer IIS, MS-SQL, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Kubernetes, Kafka, and IBM MQ, while coordinating with software and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across web, middleware, and database environments, identifying bottlenecks, and maintaining documentation to meet SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience in Linux and Windows systems.
• Knowledge or experience with Azure is a plus.
• Strong implementation and administration skills for Linux and Windows.
• Good knowledge of IIS, MS-SQL and open source solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience providing enterprise-wide on-premises systems support.
• Analytical mindset and initiative to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and operate Linux/Windows OS and middleware products.
• Administer and monitor enterprise applications such as IIS, MS-SQL, Apache HTTPd, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM MQ.
• Collaborate with software, network, and infrastructure teams to define hardware requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Troubleshoot web, middleware, and database environments.
• Identify performance bottlenecks in web environments and differentiate infrastructure from app issues.
• Maintain and update system documentation; ensure SLAs are met; handle escalations effectively.
• Utilize ITSM processes and tool support.
