Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an Infra Engineer to install, configure, and operate Linux and Windows OS along with middleware. You will administer IIS, MS-SQL, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Kubernetes, Kafka, and IBM MQ, while coordinating with software and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across web, middleware, and database environments, identifying bottlenecks, and maintaining documentation to meet SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience in Linux and Windows systems.
• Knowledge or experience with Azure is a plus.
• Strong implementation and administration skills for Linux and Windows.
• Good knowledge of IIS, MS-SQL and open source solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience providing enterprise-wide on-premises systems support.
• Analytical mindset and initiative to improve productivity.

Infra Engineer

Job Description

The Infra engineer will be required to install, configure, and operate operating system (Linux, Windows) and middleware products in IIS, MS-SQL, JBoss, Tomcat, Kubernetes. He is to assist Solution Architect in implementing the solution proposed complete assignment and implementation for the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring and daily maintenance of enterprise-wide application such as IIS, MS-SQL, Apache HTTPd, Apache Tomcat, JBoss , Websphere Application Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM-MQ.
• Interact with Software Development and infrastructure teams to define hardware requirements required to implement application solutions and troubleshoot technical issues
• Interact with software, network and infrastructure administrators to seamlessly implement solutions and solve technical issues
• Troubleshooting web, middleware and database environments
• Identify potential and real performance bottlenecks within web environments
• Using troubleshooting methods to differentiate between an infrastructure or environment problem
• Administration of Web environments
• Constantly update documentation as necessary to reflect system setup and environment.
• To handle escalation seamlessly to avoid any gaps that may arise to meet or exceed SLA.
• To utilize ITSM process and tool support.

Requirements:
