Job summary

SuccessResource Centre Pte Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a 2-year contract at Jurong East, within walking distance from MRT. You will join the Infrastructure team to perform a Mid-Life-Upgrade of a large system and support ongoing maintenance.

The role requires experience with VMware virtualization, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and IT networking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to work under pressure and independently, are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with VMware virtualization, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, hardware and IT networking is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, able to work under stress and independently.

Responsibilities

• Join the Infrastructure team to perform Mid-Life-Upgrade of a large system and support maintenance.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement upgrades and troubleshoot issues.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, repair, administrate, back up and continuously improve infrastructure components.

Job description

- 2 year contract
- Up to $5,500 + Completion Bonus
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 6.30pm
- Jurong East - Walking Distance from MRT

Responsibilities:

• Join the Infrastructure team to perform Mid-Life-Upgrade of a large system and support the maintenance on the system
• Working closely with vendors and respective internal teams to implement system upgrade solutions and participate in troubleshooting and solving problems encountered
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, repair, administrate, backup and continuously improve the infrastructure components (network, servers, workstations, security appliances)

Period:

• 2-Year Contract
• Renewable / Convertible to Permanent Depending on Performance
• Up to $5,500 + Completion Bonus

Location:

• Jurong East –Walking Distance from MRT

Working Hours:

• Mon to Fri: 9am – 6.30pm

Requirements:

• Degree in information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Experience in VMware virtualization, Windows server, Redhat Linux, computer hardware and IT network knowledge would be an advantage
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Display positive learning attitude and aptitude
• Able to work under stress and independently
