Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Backup and Automations) to join the L2 team. You will manage enterprise backup via Commvault, optimize performance, and ensure reliable data protection for government IT environments.

You will work with VMware/Nutanix and storage systems, implement automation with Ansible/Terraform, and engage with vendors to deliver robust backup services. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience deploying, administering and managing enterprise backup solutions in large IT environments.
• Hands-on Commvault administration and optimization.
• Experience with VMware and Nutanix in backup contexts.
• Familiarity with storage technologies and data lifecycle management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
• Commvault Certified Professional or equivalent preferred.
• VCP or Nutanix CP is an advantage.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the L2 team for enterprise backup solutions with focus on Commvault administration and optimization.
• Formulate backup strategies, policies and recovery procedures to meet data recovery requirements.
• Manage end-to-end backup and recovery operations using Commvault, including scheduling and reporting.
• Perform capacity management and optimization of backup infrastructure and storage.
• Support virtualization environments (VMware, Nutanix) related to backup operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors supporting backup infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to improve backup operations and streamline processes.
• Adopt government IT best practices for data protection and governance.
• Ensure project implementations align with Government tech standards.
