Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte Limited seeks an Infrastructure Lead to own design across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments for insurance technology services. You will produce high-quality artefacts like HLDs and runbooks, translating business needs into secure, scalable infrastructure designs.

Lead end-to-end delivery, govern standards, manage risks and drive incident response. Foster collaboration with architecture, security, operations, and engineering teams to strengthen operational

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Certifications such as ITIL, Cloud, security fundamentals, Kubernetes/DevOps/IaC are a plus.
• Experience leading infrastructure design and delivery for regulated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure solution design for insurance tech across on-prem, cloud and hybrid.
• Produce and maintain high-quality design artefacts: HLDs/LLDs, BOMs, runbooks.
• Translate requirements into practical, secure infrastructure designs.
• Define and govern infrastructure standards: compute, storage, networking, identity, observability.
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure delivery: planning, build, test, release, change control.
• Own risks, issues and dependencies; lead incidents and root-cause remediation.
• Embed resilience and security by design: high availability, DR, encryption, hardening.
• Engage stakeholders across architecture, security, ops, product and eng.
