Job summary

AEROSPACE COMPONENT ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE. LIMITED is seeking a senior IT leader to direct the company’s information technology strategy and operations in Singapore.

You will ensure reliable IT infrastructure, secure business applications, and effective governance across ERP and digital initiatives. The role includes acting as the EASA Part-IS Nominated Person (upon appointment), maintaining ISMS/ISMM, and driving cybersecurity, audits, and regulatory compliance while leading and developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or IS.
• 8+ years IT experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with ERP, cybersecurity and IT project management.
• Familiarity with aviation cybersecurity and Part-IS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Company’s IT function and ensure reliable, secure IT infrastructure and operations.
• Oversee system availability, DR planning, and BCP support.
• Manage business applications including ERP and user adoption.
• Drive digitalisation, automation, reporting and Power BI initiatives.
• Maintain cybersecurity controls and coordinate security training and reviews.
• Act as EASA Part-IS Nominated Person (upon appointment).
• Maintain ISMS/ISMM and coordinate audits and compliance reporting.
• Ensure IT policies comply with regulatory and data protection rules (PDPA).
• Coordinate IT audits and annual CSA with timely closure of findings.
• Oversee IT budgets, assets, licenses, vendors and projects.
• Lead and develop the IT team across operations, projects and compliance.

Job description

Primary Function

Lead the Company’s IT function, ensuring reliable and secure IT infrastructure, business applications and operations. Drive digitalisation, manage cybersecurity risks and oversee compliance with applicable EASA Part-IS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, systems and end-user support, ensuring reliable operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure system availability and resilience through backups, disaster recovery planning, annual DR walk-through tests and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) support.
• Manage business applications, including the ERP system, and work with departments and consultants on enhancements and user adoption.
• Lead digitalisation, automation, reporting and Power BI initiatives to improve workflows, data accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain cybersecurity controls, oversee security incidents and reviews, and coordinate employee awareness training.
• Serve as the EASA Part-IS Nominated Person, subject to appointment and regulatory acceptance, reporting to the Accountable Manager.
• Maintain the ISMS and ISMM, oversee information security risks and regulatory incident reporting, and coordinate Part-IS audits and compliance reporting.
• Maintain IT policies and ensure compliance with regulatory, group governance and data protection requirements, including the PDPA.
• Coordinate IT audits and the annual Control Self-Assessment (CSA), ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Manage IT budgets, assets, licences, vendors and projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines and budgets.
• Lead and develop the IT team, setting priorities across operations, projects and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant IT experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in IT infrastructure, ERP systems, cybersecurity and IT project management.
• Experience in information security management, IT governance and regulatory compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA or ISO 27001-related qualifications are preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries such as aviation, aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with aviation cybersecurity and Part-IS requirements is an advantage.
