The Team

IT Business Partners (ITBPs) have the overall responsibility of closely managing business relationships between A&M business units and Corp IT. The goal is to increase efficiency, improve effectiveness and create competitive advantage by maximizing value extraction from existing technology tools and services or introducing new innovative technology solutions. This is accomplished by building a strong understanding of assigned business unit(s) and/or territories including but not limited to: people, teams, business models, processes, success drivers, industry, clients, engagements and technology. ITBPs create and maintain bidirectional communication channels at various levels within the business units, convey priorities and relevant IT project information, share knowledge of technology‑related opportunities, risks and/or impacts, align business and IT goals and execute against common objectives. They also collaborate with other corporate departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Project Management Office, Marketing and Security, or other Corp IT subdivisions such as HRIS, Applications, Field Services Support and Engineering to ensure enhanced customer service to A&M business units thus driving success through true partnership with the business.

How you will contribute

Below lists key work activities the IT Business Partner must demonstrate to achieve the position objective listed above.

  • Client/Stakeholder Business Relationship Management. Develop a personalized, value‑added service with demonstration of willingness to meet needs of internal customers and by extension their clients, deliver products and services that best serve client needs; channel feedback for improving services and perform necessary follow‑up work without being prompted.
  • Oversee technology alignment across multiple countries within SEAA and North Asia, ensuring compliance with local/regional data sovereignty, cybersecurity and privacy regulations. Collaborate with Global Security and IT alongside local leadership to balance central governance with regional enablement.
  • Contribute to the management of the regional IT demand pipeline, capturing, prioritising and communicating initiatives through structured intake and governance processes, ensuring transparency of costs, risks and resource dependencies.
  • Work with business leadership and stakeholders in the efficient and cost‑effective delivery of technology solutions to address business needs and challenges.
  • Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, recommend and implement solutions to create a holistic experience for A&M business & IT operations.
  • Work on complex business problems and provide highly innovative solutions using domain expertise and business and technological intelligence to enable quality decision making.
  • Actively participate in all phases of assigned projects as necessary from concept, project planning, development, execution, monitoring to project closure.
  • Assist in creating, implementing and delivering change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and proficiency.
  • Solid business analysis, customer interaction and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proactively solicit, set and/or manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, contribute to prioritization, and leadership/oversight for in flight projects or major issues and challenges.
  • Create business communications, share IT services knowledge, policies, risks and contingency plans with business stakeholders.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders, operations management teams and brokering relationships at all levels
  • Contribute to the development of the ITBP framework & journey map.
  • Proactively partner with various departments and groups to drive ongoing adoption and implementation of technology and identify opportunities for business process improvement.
Qualifications

A successful candidate will not only have outstanding stakeholder management skills, but also exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills coupled with knowledge of various technology solutions ranging from conceptual understanding to strong technical comprehension. Moreover, a strong ITBP must have:

  • Experience: 5+ years of direct experience in IT and/or business relationship/partnership roles.
  • Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in related area.
  • Desirable: Hold a Business Relationship Management (BRMP) or Certified Business Relationship Management (CBRM) certification. Multi‑lingual across the Southeast/or North Asia regions.
