Job summary

Michael Page Singapore is looking for a dynamic business development professional to drive new business growth in industrial and engineering markets. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, building relationships with key decision-makers and presenting tailored solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in sales or BD, a technical diploma/degree in engineering, CRM proficiency, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets.
• Strong client engagement, presentation and negotiation capabilities.
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand customer challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across target industries and customer accounts.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and establish trusted advisor status with customers.
• Conduct sales presentations, solution demonstrations and commercial discussions with prospective clients.
• Manage the complete sales process, from lead generation and qualification through to proposal development, negotiation and contract closure.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and business cases that clearly communicate solution value.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, accurate CRM records and reliable sales forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with technical, engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
