Job summary

STREAM ENVIRONMENT (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and PLC controlled equipment on our plant floor. The role requires basic IT knowledge to support computer networks and connected devices, ensuring minimal downtime.

Key duties include troubleshooting electrical systems, reading wiring diagrams and ladder logic, and performing preventive maintenance on automated machinery. Experience with PLC brands and networking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
• Diagnose faults in PLC programs and hardware, and restore normal operation quickly.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery.
• Back up, upload, and modify PLC and HMI programs under supervision.
• Set up and support industrial network connections such as Ethernet and Modbus.
• Configure basic IP addresses, switches, and routers for control equipment.
• Support SCADA systems and connected PCs on the plant floor.
• Record faults, repairs, and spare part usage in maintenance reports.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout and tagout.
