Job summary

SANMINA-SCI SYSTEMS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and keep lines running.

You will follow work instructions, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns promptly. PLC control systems knowledge and reading drawings are required.

Candidates should have a Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with PLCs and interpreting electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure all equipment and machines are in good operating condition and to respond to breakdown in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work instructions and work procedures are followed.
• Perform equipment preventive and predictive maintenance activities to the highest quality.
• Reduce troubleshooting and repair time and strive for high volume.
• Assist in managing equipment spare parts
• No allergy to any chemicals, oil and fiberglass dust.
