Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime during production breakdowns.

You will read drawings, work with gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics, and follow safety protocols including LOTO. A Diploma in a technical field and 2–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems independently.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, control circuits, contactors, sensors, and switches.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults in gearboxes, pneumatic systems, belts, bearings, rotating equipment, and basic hydraulic systems.
• Perform mechanical adjustments, component replacement, and minor repair work to restore equipment operation.
• Diagnose basic to intermediate equipment faults and escalate complex issues to supervisors.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Monitor SCADA system alarms and perform basic troubleshooting actions.
