Job summary
Ingersoll Rand in Singapore is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support overhaul, refurbishment and commissioning of compressor systems and rotating equipment. You will diagnose faults, troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs, install and test control panels, and ensure compliance with safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
You will collaborate with maintenance teams, interpret schematics, and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence of electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical or field service experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical control cubicles, DBs, VFDs, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Support overhaul and refurbishment of industrial compressors and related equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and commission electrical systems and controls.
- Diagnose faults in electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, and inverter drives to minimize downtime.
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to guide maintenance tasks.
- Assist root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
