Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is recruiting for an Automation Engineer to design, develop, program, and commission advanced automation systems for manufacturing lines in Singapore. You will implement PLC/HMI solutions, motion control, and robotics, ensuring efficient production and high reliability.

The role requires hands-on PLC/HMI programming, familiarity with industrial networks, and the ability to work on multiple projects while upholding GMP, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in PLC and HMI programming.
• Knowledge of motion control systems, servo drives, industrial networks.
• Familiarity with robotics, machine vision, Python, C#, or C is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and commission automation machines and manufacturing systems.
• Develop PLC, HMI, motion control, and machine control solutions to meet project requirements.
• Design electrical control systems, wiring schematics, control panels, and automation documentation.
• Integrate industrial robots, vision systems, sensors, servo systems into automated production lines.
• Support machine testing, validation, commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and perform root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives through machine connectivity and data collection.
