Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement automation systems and robot integrations across manufacturing lines. The role focuses on improving productivity, reliability and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation, machine design and system integration, with knowledge of sensors, PLCs, HMI and programming. This full-time role is based in Singapore and offers opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or an equivalent field.

Responsibilities

To conceptualize, design and implement automation systems to enhance productivity.
To test and commissioning electrical and automation system.
To integrate robot system to existing manufacturing machinery to achieve automation to improve overall manufacturing efficiency and productivity improvement.
To troubleshoot, repair current factory automation hardware, software and interface issues, maintaining the system to ensure full functionality and reliability.
To design, modify and implement end of arm tooling (EOAT) with robot system of molding machine to required function in efficient and cost-effective manner.
Keep abreast of latest developments in industrial automation technology and introduce them to company to achieve cost savings and productivity improvements.
To support any work activities related to industry 4.0 initiative companywide.
