Job summary

VIBTECH GENESIS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems for industrial clients. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams, and support FAT/SAT, site installations, and commissioning.

Applicants should have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics and at least 3 years in automation engineering, with knowledge of Modbus/Profibus/Ethernet/IP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation engineering, PLC programming, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Hands-on experience in automation system design, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Able to work on-site and field-based assignments with valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.

Responsibilities

• Involved in FAT, SAT, site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation and monitoring systems.
• Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems and automation solutions.
• Develop and test control logic and algorithms for reliable processes.
• Integrate electrical, mechanical, and software components into complete automation systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Work with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
