Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures, and to validate manufacturing processes at our Changi site in Singapore. You will lead experiments, generate technical reports, and support automation projects with data-driven insights.

Strong programming, robotics and documentation skills are essential. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years’ experience, and familiarity with GMP/GDP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, Power BI and other languages.
• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading Industry 4.0/5.0 projects including robotics programming or AI-assisted programming.
• Knowledge of C# is advantageous.
• Exposure to robotics foundations, LLMs and related industrial AI models is an advantage.
• Experience in medical device GMP/GDP, validation, CAD or statistics preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
• Develop, execute and analyse experiments to qualify and validate manufacturing processes.
• Prepare technical reports, validation documentation, work instructions and training materials.
• Support automation and process technology projects, including data collection, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Apply programming and data analysis tools to support engineering projects and manufacturing improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and minimise operational risks.
• Ensure GMP/GDP quality standards and safety requirements are followed.
