Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to advance automation initiatives at the Changi Singapore Plant onsite. The position offers a monthly salary up to SGD 6,200 under a 12-month renewable contract and focuses on Industry 4.0/5.0 projects, equipment design, and process optimization.

You will develop and validate tests, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to digitalisation efforts, robotics, AI, and manufacturing documentation.

Qualifications

• Min. degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
• Programming experience required.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 / 5.0 projects, robotic programming or AI-assisted programming preferred.
• Experience with robotics foundation models, VLM, VLA or LLM industrial applications advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP / Good Documentation Practices in a medical device environment preferred.
• CAD and MS Project experience advantageous.
• FDA medical device regulatory knowledge advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute experiments, testing and validation protocols.
• Analyse validation results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Support automation and manufacturing technology projects.
• Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Develop work instructions, training materials and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing risks and technical issues.
• Support Industry 4.0 / 5.0 initiatives involving robotics, AI and digitalisation.
