Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks an Automation Engineer for a 1-year contract at our Changi site in Singapore. You will design equipment and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency, craft validation protocols, and support AI-enabled automation projects.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering, strong Python and Power BI skills, and knowledge of C#. Experience with robotics models and Industry 4.0 initiatives is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced computer skills; proficient in Python, Power BI and other programmable languages.
• Knowledge in C-Sharp (C#) programming language will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design of equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, employing technical design skills.
• Develop moderately complex experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
• Develop training and documentation materials for production to enable knowledge transfer of projects.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.
• Assist in gathering validation data and deploying automation and process technology related projects.
• Work in cross functional teams to reduce or eliminate risks, issues, concerns.
