• Issue receipts and provide accurate change and payment confirmations.
• Keep cashier station clean and organized.

About the role

Restaurant Cashier to join our restaurant team in Taman Jurong.

Key responsibilities

• Processing customer payments using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, card payments, and other payment methods

• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling all transactions

• Providing courteous and efficient service to guests as they complete their dining experience

• Handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary

• Issuing receipts and providing customers with accurate change and payment confirmations

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the cashier station

• Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as recording daily sales figures and preparing banking deposits

• Supporting other team members during peak service times as needed

• Taking take away orders placed at counter

• Adhering to all health, safety, and food service regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a cashier, customer service, or hospitality role is preferred

• Strong numerical and cash handling abilities
