Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field (required).
• Professional coursework or certification in trade, customs, or logistics (preferred).
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, logistics, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and trade documentation.
• Experience coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Responsibilities

• Execute import and export transactions in accordance with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate trade documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping records.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs holds.
• Support compliance with trade regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and data within trade, logistics, and ERP systems.
• Assist with reporting, metrics tracking, and data analysis related to import/export activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Singapore and regional Asia‑Pacific trade regulations.
• Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews.
• Exposure to global trade management systems or customs software.
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.

• Language: English proficiency required; additional languages preferred.
• Travel: Minimal; occasional local or regional travel may be required.
• Certifications: Trade compliance, customs, or logistics certifications preferred.
