DP World Logistics Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Implementation Manager based in Singapore to lead end-to-end logistics project deployments across the country, ensuring solutions meet local customer requirements and align with DP World standards.

You will coordinate project initiation through transition, manage timelines and milestones, and provide post-go-live support to monitor ramp-up, KPIs, and change requests, while maintaining proactive communication with clients.

Job description

We are looking for an Implementation Manager based in Singapore to support the end-to-end implementation of logistics projects across the country, ensuring solutions meet local customer requirements and operational needs. The role will assist in adapting regional or cluster-level strategies to suit country-specific requirements across the project initiation, design, build, deployment, and transition phases. This includes coordinating the setup and deployment of logistics solutions for new and existing clients, such as warehouse operations, transportation management systems, and client onboarding into DP World's operational framework.

The Implementation Manager will support project planning by preparing timelines, tracking critical milestones, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to customer requirements. The role will also provide post-go-live support to monitor ramp-up progress, KPI achievement, and change request requirements, while maintaining good communication and rapport with customers to support proactive and continuous information flow.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Executing the project in alignment with DP World's project governance standards and best practices
• Championing established project methodologies and solutions sets throughout the build and deploy phases to meet project deliverables and success criteria within the designated timelines.
• Collaborating with site managers for both new locations and existing operations to ensure customer solutions are implemented per design intent.
• Managing the procurement process and maintaining control over associated timelines and expenditures.
• Documenting and presenting project resource costs, capital expenditure, and operational expenditure in the deploy and transition phases to the management team for approval.
• Safeguard active involvement and qualification of assigned project team in implementation process. Should this not be the case it is expected that the Project Implementation Manager would elevate this accordingly for input and support.
• Finalizing the concept of operations, project scope, and deliverables in detail and securing written customer approval to establish a shared understanding of project expectation.
• Executing projects in the country, overseeing timelines, budgets and compliance with local regulations
• Address any issues that arise during the implementation process, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering/Logistics Management; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years+ experience in Project Management in a logistics environment ideally in third party logistics service companies. Warehouse Operational Experience an advantage but not essential. Engineering/Six Sigma Background desirable.
• Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate and high-quality work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information and implement effective solutions.
• Proactive and self-driven, with a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities, challenges, and projects.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 100% of the working week, based on business and project requirements.
